Big thanks to Chris Nield from the club for getting in touch and wanting to know our story. It's nice to get recognised, but we don't really do what we do for the accolades, or mentions on the club website. We do it because we love this football club wholeheartedly.

Probably just in favour of Australian actually. There's a whole host of reasons, mainly family from Manchester, and a general hatred for the Rags.

ReplyDeleteI'm the token Manc in the permanent support, but we have plenty here for 6 months to a year at a time.
We're a committed bunch, and I can honestly say I've been surprised at the level of interest and insight by most Australians in their football - nothing like the Americans with their soccerball. In addition the anchorman on Fox Sports (ie Sky Sports equiv) is Simon Hill - a big Man City fan :)
