This is most likely what the boys will be wearing in the 2010-11 Premier League and Europa League campaign. Out of all the mock-ups and fake kits, this appears to be the most genuine, and I'm almost certain this is the real deal.
Whilst similar to last year's kit, there are a few minor changes. The white crew neck is gone, replaced by a blue collar, and the shirt now has white cuffs... but my favourite change is the one that you won't be able to see when you're wearing it — the miniature City scarf at the back of the neck.
I didn't think they were able to improve on last season's kit, but on this occasion, I think Umbro have outdone themselves.
Don't forget, we will be placing an order for the kit when it's released, so if you're in Australia and you want to save a couple of bucks, get in contact.
It looks like the miniature scarf use our old maroon trim colour. I hope this is incorporated elsewhere in the design e.g. a maroon stripe on the shorts and maroon stripes on the tops of the socks. It would look like our kit from the late 60s/early 70s. Very Bell, Lee, Summerbee!
ReplyDeleteDidn't know this site existed. Glad I found this snap! Looks like the real deal. And VERY nice, AGAIN, from Umbro. I'm v.pleased if this is it.
ReplyDeletefake, we have a new sponsor next season. It's etisalat. Sorry guys........

ReplyDeleteI think that's something that a lot of City fans have yearned for – the maroontrim on the socks.
Hopefully, this will mean that next season we ditch the white socks with the blue turnovers and instead go around with sky socks with maroon and white turnovers circa 1968.
The away kit should be interesting as well, rumored to be dark blue and white.
Whatever happened to a kit lasting TWO seasons???? Rip off time again.
ReplyDeleteetisalat is a telecomunications partner, not the official kit sponsor, which is etihad airways for at least another 2 years. (3year deal)
ReplyDeleteclass new kit happy to see that it has not changed much best ever kit i think
ReplyDeleteI agree an excellent design, but what was wrong with last seasons shirts... any of them for that matter.
ReplyDeleteNow that the new away kit is released, i'm almost certain that this is the real deal. It shares a few design elements with the away kit that would indicate that it's authentic. Sweet! This kit looks awesome!
